NSW Late Model legend Darryl Grimson has qualified in the top 4 of a highly competitive field at Manjimup last night.

Darryl also won his first heat and, starting off seventh, came fifth in his second heat.

Darryl Grimson is currently equal third running into tonights race of champions for the Australian number 1.

A strong showing at Fire Service Plus Nowra Speedway in mid December has the SKM Motorsport Dirt Late Model team feeling confident heading back to the same track on January 2.

Following some early season mechanical issues Neil Wallace steered the SKM Motorsport #97 Rocket to a solid second place in the Main at the December 19 race meeting.

The KMC Racing Dirt Late Model team return to Fire Service Plus Nowra Speedway (NSW) Saturday January 2 after a solid showing at the same track only two weeks ago. 

“We had a good run at the last meeting, and will be looking to improve even further this Saturday night” said team driver Kevin Stevens.
